The central location of hotel Condes is ideal for visiting the city and for shopping. The Passeig de Gracia is lined on both sides with luxury shops and also has two emblematic buildings of Gaudi with the Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas, with its street artists, only 10 minutes walk away. From here you can walk around the historical areas of El Raval and the Gothic district. In Plaça Catalunya you will find the Corte Inglés which is a department store with international products. There is also a pharmacy on this street at number 26.

Shopping in Psg. de Gracia is easy as there is a cash machine on almost every other block, with the nearest to the hotel being on the left. There are also lots of cafés and restaurants to choose from. The underground station is a 2 minute walk away and if you need a pharmacy there is one at number 26.

How to arrive in car from the main directions

As you come out of the airport area go towards Barcelona “Centro Ciudad” (City Centre) on the A32 motorway.

From the C32 motorway, Barcelona is accessed by the la Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes (one of Barcelona’s principal avenues) in the direction “Centro Ciudad”.

To get to the Hotel Condes de Barcelona go straight on without leaving this avenue, cross the Plaza Espanya via the underground tunnel and go straight on down Gran Vía.

Go straight on until Passeig de Gràcia. When you get to this Avenue turn left and go up this avenue in the side lane until Calle Mallorca where you will find Hotel Condes de Barcelona.

How to arrive from the airport in public transportation

• By Taxi: A taxi from the airport should take around 25 minutes and cost in the region of 25-30 euros, depending on the traffic and amount of luggage.
• By Train: The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Catalunya station in around 30 minutes and costs 2.60 Euros per ticket. Once at Catalunya station take the green line of the metro to Passeig de Gracia and the hotel is a 3 minute walk from the station.
• By Bus: You can take the Aerobus which costs 3.60 Euros from the Airport which will take you to the Catalunya station. The journey time is 30 minutes. Once at Catalunya station, take the green metro line until Passeig de Gracia and the hotel is a 3 minutes walk from the station.
